Kranji Countryside Farmers’ Market – 2nd edition – Nyee Phoe (Gardenasia)
Following the successful inaugural weekend market that saw more than 4,000 visitors back in June 2014, Kranji Countryside Farmers’ Market has returned for their 2nd edition from 4th to 5th October 2014 at Nyee Phoe (Gardenasia) !
Organized by the Kranji Countryside Association, the Kranji Countryside Farmers’ Market is the first local farmers’ market in Singapore and their objective is simple- to bring Singapore’s locally grown produce and locally made products directly to consumers also, to promote Kranji countryside as a destination embodying health and sustainability.
The turnout at the event was astounding! About 8000 people turned up at the countryside, showing strong support for local produce. Featuring a wide range of fresh, locally grown produce and locally-made artisanal goodness, Etna Italian Restaurant is proud to be one of the 42 vendors showcasing our in-house baked bread and pastries.
All of our products were snapped up in no time and we were truly flattered by the overwhelming response shown to us. We’re certainly marking our calendars for the upcoming Kranji Countryside Farmers’ Market!
